The Wassaic Project this year was amazing.

Was also quite an upgrade for Toasty Time to be pinned up front and center on the wall!

Woohoo!

We took some time off to cool it and hang by a babbling brook.

This is the only picture I took that I liked that was in the actual art festival. A school desk with some paper on it. Haha. Go figure.

Pearl and the Beard performed. Eric shot this awesome video a while back for these guys. Unfortunately they didn't do the Will Smith medley, which we so longed to hear.

3rd Annual Wassaic Project

The Wassaic Project (a 3-day long arts and music festival) is going on for its 3rd year this weekend, and it's gonna be bigger and badder than ever! Things I will look forward to:

1. Ice-cold swimming holes, bagels-n-shmere at the Wassaic general store, and crashing a 5 year olds' bouncy house party.
2. James Franco's short film screening (He's so beautiful and weird and hilarious I am prepared to like it no matter what)
3. Toasty Timez repping at the Wassaic Project store for the 2nd year in a row! This'll be my first time selling womens, mens and kids hoodies all in one spot!

I made these special Toasty Time and Wassaic Project tags for the special occasion!

I swear, pint-size kids are so cute in these it's hard to resist punching them in the face.

Materials: Mittens or gloves, thread, needles, stuffing, something for eyes (buttons, yarn, etc)

Cut the thumb, middle and ring fingers for the body of your friend. Sew the holes shut and stuff it.

Use the fingers you just cut for arms, tails. Stuff and sew on.

My friend Amanda used the black/white striped mittens.

Lissa used the black mittens for the body and striped for arms.

Amanda and Lissa never showed me their finished friends.
